Commonwealth Broadcasting announces new station Zing! 106.7

GLASGOW, Ky. – A new radio station has launched in South Central Kentucky.
According to a release from Commonwealth Broadcasting, Zing! 106.7 signed on the air on Tuesday, March 31 at just after 1 pm.
Commonwealth Broadcasting says the station features a bright adult contemporary format built around familiar pop hits.
“Zing! 106.7 is designed to make people feel better the moment they turn it on,” said Chris Houchens, general manager of Commonwealth Broadcasting. “It’s a great station for listeners because it fits their real, everyday lives with positivity and energy. At the same time, it’s a powerful platform for local advertisers to connect with engaged consumers who are making buying decisions for their households.”
Programming includes “Murphy, Sam & Jodi” from 5 to 10 am, middays with Macy G from 10 am to 2 pm, “The TJ Show” from 2 to 6 pm, and “Murphy, Sam & Jodi Rewind” from 6 to 10 pm. The station also features “Saturday FreePlay,” offering six hours of commercial-free music on Saturday afternoons from noon to 6 pm.
Zing! 106.7 will also be the host radio station for the annual Glasgow Christmas Parade , which can also be seen on WNKY News 40.
