Commissioner “Slim” Nash files for re-election in Bowling Green
A Bowling Green City Commissioner has announced he’s filing for re-election.
Brian "Slim" Nash tells WNKY he will be filing the paperwork Monday afternoon.
Nash, who lost in the democratic primary for a state house seat to replace Jody Richards, says he made the decision to run for his sixth term about two weeks ago.
"I still bring the same unique voice I’ve brought in the past," said Nash.
Along with Nash, commission incumbents, Joe Denning, Sue Parrigin and Rick Williams are all running to retrain their seats.
The election is Tuesday, November 6.
