Commissioner Parrigin elected to Kentucky League of Cities Executive Board
LEXINGTON, Ky. – City of Bowling Green Commissioner Sue Parrigin has been elected to the Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) Executive Board, according to a release.
Parrigin has been on the KLC Board of Directors since 2021.
Parrigin was first elected to the Bowling Green City Commission in 2014 and served as Mayor Pro Tem for six years.
According to the release, Parrigin’s appointment will provide Bowling Green “a direct voice in the organization’s leadership, helping guide its advocacy, programs, services, and long-term direction.”
KLC provides Kentucky cities with legislative advocacy, legal services, training, research, insurance, financial services, and other resources designed to support effective municipal government, according to the release.
