Collier signs Letter of Intent with Central Arkansas

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Amayiah Collier officially signed the Central Arkansas softball program. Collier played in 36 games last season, batted over 400, with 11 home runs and 32 RBI’s.

She led her team in each of those statistical categories.

Here is what the star Panther had to say about her future home and why she chose to be a Bear.

“I really bonded and clicked with the coaches,” Collier said. “And to me, that’s the most important thing is to have a relationship with the coaches. And what I also really liked about it is that they don’t do six a.m. workouts. And it’s like it’s like a smaller D1 school. Like somewhere I can get to go in my freshman year play, put up good numbers and still, like, show out in the NCAA and not have to worry about out being over better D1 players.”

Congrats, A’miyah!
