College football fan breaking record for most number of games attended at New Orleans Bowl

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-One man is trying to break the record for the most number of football games attended in one season…and he was in the stands for the New Orleans Bowl last night!

Ben Chase is from Florida, and has always had a passion for college football. With a little extra free time this fall, he decided to break the record for the most number of college football games attended in a single season. 

That record was 57. Chase has gone above and beyond, attending 64 games so far- and he still has 13 more he wants to check off his list! 

“I always say bet on yourself and double down so I said I’m going to go for 60 games and it ended up being 70 games and now it’s going to be 77. I’m just leaning into it now. The bowl season is definitely different from the regular season but I’m still enjoying it, meeting people. Nothing brings a community together more than college football.”

He travels to all of the games in his van, which he calls ‘Betty White’.
