Clifford named new principal of Park City Elementary School

PARK CITY, Ky. – Brian Clifford has been named the new principal of Park City Elementary School.
According to Barren County Schools, Clifford began his career in education in 1997 as a teacher in Taylor County. He first served as principal at Park City Elementary in 2005 and has since held several leadership roles, including principal at multiple schools, instructional coordinator, director of elementary instruction, and most recently, educational recovery leader with the Kentucky Department of Education.
He holds both a bachelor and master of science in music education from Campbellsville University and earned his rank I in educational leadership from Eastern Kentucky University.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Clifford back home to Park City Elementary,” said Amy Irwin, superintendent of Barren County Schools. “With over 28 years of experience and a deep commitment to student success, Mr. Clifford brings both heart and expertise to this role. I’m confident he will provide outstanding leadership to the students, staff, and community he knows so well.”
Clifford said, “It is a true honor to return to Park City Elementary—a school that has always held a special place in my heart. Stepping back into the role of principal feels like coming home, and I am incredibly excited to work alongside our amazing students, families, and staff once again. Clifford will officially begin his duties as principal of Park City Elementary on July 1.
