Clarksville police investigating after 3 found dead inside of home

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – An investigation is underway after three people were found dead inside of a Clarksville home.

The Clarksville Police Department says it responded at about 1:38 p.m. Tuesday to a residence on Idlewood Drive.

Upon arrival, officers say they found three individuals dead inside of the home.

CPD Special Operations Homicide Unit detectives and members of the Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene.

At this time, investigators say they do not believe there is any threat to the public. No additional information is available for release.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
