Clark Headed to Campbellsville to Continue Football Career
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Wednesday over at Warren East High School, Michael Clark signed to play football at Campbellsville University after just one season on the Raider football squad.
Clark originally had plans to play basketball in college, but today after committing to hit the gridiron as a Tiger next fall, he shared what his journey up to this moment was like.
“Coach Hall really sat down and talked to me and was like, man, we can use you on the field. And I was like, well, I don’t know what I want to play. He was like, you got good size, you fast, you can play running back. I was like, I’ll take it,” Clark said. “We got a lot of work in. I was staying out there after practice, getting extra work in, and then look where it got me. God gave me the way to play football, so I’ll took it.”
