City to vote on funding 14 new Bowling Green police vehicles
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Bowling Green Police Department is looking to purchase some new rides.
At this Tuesday’s city commission meeting, elected leaders in bowling green will vote on whether to allow the police department to spend around $334,000 on 14 new vehicles.
All of those vehicles are Dodge Chargers.
11 of the vehicles will be used by the department’s administrative division, while the other three will be used by the patrol division.
Also at Tuesday’s meeting, commissioners will vote for a second and final time on keeping the city’s property tax rate the same as last year’s.
Tuesday’s city commission meeting gets underway at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall.
