City of Bowling Green responds to controversial signs placed around downtown
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The City of Bowling Green is responding to the person or people placing signs around downtown work zones, complaining about construction.
Some of those signs read: Caution, absolutely needless road work ahead and your tax dollars being wasted.
The city responded Wednesday in a social media post saying: We’ve seen your signs and we’ve heard your distress, but we think y’all need to calm down.
The post then goes on to mention the benefits of the construction, such as providing more parking spots and widening sidewalks to make them ADA compliant.
