City of Bowling Green proclaims Animal Control Officer Appreciation Week
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This week, Bowling Green city officials are honoring animal control officers with an official proclamation.
On Friday, mayor Todd Alcott issued a proclamation declaring April 13 to April 19 as Animal Control Officer Appreciation Week, a time to recognize the incredible work these dedicated professionals do every day.
City leaders say from rescuing lost pets to helping wildlife, and, yes, even chasing the occasional runaway chicken, they do it all with heart, grit and a whole lot of patience.
A big thank you to the animal control officers who protect our two- and four-legged residents alike.
