Chris Carmichael Featured in Sonic Landscape Exhibit

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Renowned multi-instrumentalist Chris Carmichael will be featured in the “Sonic Landscape” exhibit this Saturday at the Kentucky Museum.

Carmichael, who plays nearly every stringed instrument, began his career with The Flying Monkeys in Bowling Green and later joined 15 Strings. He gained recognition in Nashville for his dynamic violin work and vocals.

“I was inspired by the greats to create my own expressions,” Carmichael said. “There are millions of influences bubbling under what became my sound—we’re all standing on the shoulders of our predecessors.”

Known for his innovative arrangements and commitment to lyrical integrity, Carmichael’s work blends social awareness with original, layered string compositions.

The exhibit opens Saturday at the Kentucky Museum.
