Chick-fil-A Supply’s $100M distribution center to create jobs in Kenton County

FRANKFORT, Ky. – On Tuesday, Gov. Andy Beshear announced Chick-fil-A Supply has plans to bring a new $100 million distribution facility to Kenton County.

Officials say the facility is expected to create 178 full-time jobs in Elsmere, Kentucky over five years. The new distribution center will be located on over 28 acres and will include a more-than-270,000-square-foot facility, according to the governor’s office.

“Once again, an industry-leading company is making a major investment in our commonwealth and our incredible workforce,” Beshear said. “This investment by Chick-fil-A Supply in northern Kentucky will provide incredible job opportunities for families across the region, and I am looking forward to their future success here in their new Kentucky home.”

Officials say the new facility will support 150 Chick-fil-A restaurants in the region.

In its first year, Beshear’s office says the facility plans to hire for over 130 positions, including general manager, various leadership positions, drivers, warehouse team members, navigators and maintenance technicians.

In addition, officials say Chick-fil-A Inc. will donate $25,000 to a Feeding America partner food bank in the area once the center is operating.

Construction of the new facility has begun, and the distribution center is expected to be operational in 2026.
