CDC: Warning about disrupted access to ADHD meds

(CNN) – The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued an official health advisory warning, saying there may be disruptions in accessing ADHD medications.

The announcement comes after the arrests of two executives of a telehealth company that distributes such drugs.

The justice department announced a Federal healthcare fraud indictment against two executives from the digital health company ‘Done Global.’

The indictment claims the two executives generated more than 100 million dollars in revenue by arranging for the prescriptions of more than 40 million pills, targeting “drug seekers” and instructing prescribers to prescribe stimulants to patients even if they didn’t qualify.
