Caverna Independent Schools to host event teaching dangers of social media

HORSE CAVE, Ky. – Caverna Independent Schools is partnering with Cyber Safe Schools to teach the dangers of social media.

The district says an expert will be teaching various topics, including sextortion, cyber bullying and much more during an event Monday, March 31.

The meeting is free and will last from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Caverna High School gym.

The presenter, detective Michael Lemon, created Cyber Safe School in 2018. The district says he has 15 years of experience with hunting online predators for state and local police and multiple federal task forces.
