Cave City man charged with drug possession after traffic stop

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Cave City man is facing several charges following a traffic stop on Thursday.
According to the Glasgow Police Department, officers conducted the traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Bobby Johnson, 43, of Cave City.
Police say they determined Johnson had a suspended license related to operating a vehicle under the influence.
In addition, police say they located synthetic marijuana in the vehicle.
Johnson was arrested and transported to the Barren County Detention Center.
He is charged with disregarding traffic control device – traffic light, careless driving, possession of synthetic drugs, first offense, and driving on a DUI suspended license, third offense.
