Cave City man accused of operating marijuana grow house

CAVE CITY, Ky.- A Cave City man is behind bars after authorities accused him of operating a marijuana grow house.

According to a news release from the Barren River Drug Task Force, officers executed a search warrant last Monday at a residence in the 3800 block of Old Lexington Road.

Inside, authorities said they located approximately 28 suspected marijuana plants, processed suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Larry Collins, 49, was arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana-five plants or more, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and being held on a $10,000 bond.
