CASA of South Central Kentucky announced pajama drive

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Court Appointed Special Advocates of South Central Kentucky just announced a new donation initiative to help provide pajamas to local kids.

Most of the children CASA works with are in foster care or out of home care and range from birth to age 21.

The initiative was announced Tuesday and will officially begin Oct. 1.

On that date, you can go to the office of BGMU, Farmer RECC or Warren RECC to get a bunny slipper with the list of items and sized needed for a specific child.

You can also contact CASA directly to arrange a drop off or donate money.

Before the official beginning, Guradians of the Children will be hosting a Dice Run and Pajama Drive on Saturday, Aug. 28.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. at Harley Davidson in Bowling Green.

That event will help raise funds and pajamas for CASA’s new initiative.

To participate, bring $10 or pajamas, robes, slippers etc. of assorted children’s sizes plus $10 per dice hand (one hand is one roll at each location).

Passengers are free.
