Cardinal Motel reopens after December 2021 tornadoes

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local motel known for its friendly bird standing in the heart of Bowling Green, which withstood the devastating tornadoes of 2021, is now reopen.

The Cardinal Motel is now officially back open after those tornadoes. The famous red bird was still standing even after the tornado passed through.

Now, the motel has been rebuilt. It offers 20 rooms conveniently located in downtown Bowling Green.

Of course, the famous red cardinal is still there to welcome guests.
