Cardinal Council Garden Club flower show at the Historic Railpark
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The sweet fragrance of flowers flooded through Bowling Green, thanks to dozens of members of the Cardinal Council of garden clubs. Garden clubs from all over South Central Kentucky gathered at the Historic Railpark to remember nursery rhymes through the floral artwork.
This event gives garden club members the chance to showcase their work which can take a lifetime to create. Susan Throneberry co-chair, of the Cardinal Council flower show tells us “It’s sort of like having a baby after we have it, after it’s over, everything’s wonderful and we’re excited for the next year. Now the week before or the day before we have the show. Sometimes it’s a little nerve-wracking, but it’s a wonderful opportunity.”
This is a seasonal event, so if you missed it today well that’s alright they’ll have another beautiful show here in Bowling Green next year for the spring of 2025. For more information, visit https://www.cardinalcouncilgc.org/.
