Car show fundraiser for coworkers in chemo
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – You can find good people anywhere, and Holley seems to have some good people working for them. Fundraiser efforts are underway from co-workers to help out 3 women who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Amy and Ray Holliman along with others have helped to pitch in for a fundraiser car show at the Jim Roberts Community Park in Franklin, Kentucky. The show is meant to help benefit the Hollimans coworkers with expenses related to their diagnosis.
At the park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, there will be cars, trucks, jeeps and other vehicles out as well as food and local business vendors. The Hollimans told News 40 that there will be raffle drawings as well as a silent auction all in efforts to help out their fellow workers.
The Hollimans said the Rosie Foundation have gone on to sponsor the event and the benefactors will be present for as long as they can as well.
