Campus Beat – ‘Face of a Scholar’ Scholarship

Scholarships are a vital part of higher education in our country.

For some students, the scholarships they receive help pay for their entire education, as well as other things such as books, food, etc.

But it’s not often that a university’s own police department starts a scholarship fund – especially one that raises money through officers who grow out their facial hair.

In this week’s Campus Beat, learn more about the inaugural “Face of a Scholar” scholarship created by the Western Kentucky University Police Department, and hear from the first recipient of the award.
