Camaro owners roll into town to celebrate cars
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Hundreds of Chevy Camaros are lining the streets of Bowling Green this weekend.
For the 9th consecutive year, the Camaro Fest is taking place at Beech Bend Raceway and the National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park.
The four-day long event, which started yesterday, is one of the nation’s largest late-model Camaro gatherings, combining competitive motorsports with the more traditional car show format.
The event continues at 7 p.m. Friday with a huge parking lot party for Camaro owners outside the Sloan Convention Center.
Racing resumes at 8 a.m. Saturday at Beech Bend.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at camarofest.org.
