Cade Stinnett named SAA Newcomer of the Year

DANVILLE, Ky. – Former Greenwood Gator star Cade Stinnett was officially named the Southern Athletic Association Newcomer of the Year, which was voted on by the conference’s coaches.

Stinnett is just the third Colonel to win this award in program history.

The freshman star averaged 18 points per game which was also the highest on record from any Centre freshman.

Stinnett also ended the season leading the team in total rebounds and rebounds per game.

Cade finished the season with 451 points scored which was the highest total by a Centre College freshman since 1979.
