Cabin Fever Speaker Series at Warren County Public Library
The Warren County Public Library will host three Kentucky authors for the month of February for the Cabin Fever Speaker Series.
Eddie Price, author of Widder's Landing, will speak at the Main Library on Tuesday, February 4 at 6:00 p.m. The story is set in western Kentucky in the turbulent years of 1811-1815 and includes the vital role Kentucky played in the War of 1812.
Eddie Price is a lifelong native of Kentucky. A graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College and Western Kentucky University, Eddie has taught history for 36 years (31 at Hancock County High School). He has also taught classes for Owensboro Community & Technical College. The winner of numerous teaching awards, Eddie has coached several award-winning academic teams and history contest winners.
On Tuesday, February 11, Tom Hunley will discuss his latest book of poetry titled Scotch Tape World.
Tom C. Hunley is an associate professor of English at Western Kentucky University and the director of Steel Toe Books. His previous books include The Poetry Gymnasium; Annoyed Grunt;; Teaching Poetry Writing: A Five-Canon Approach and several others.
Joe Cox, author of 100 Things Wildcat Fans Should Know and Do Before They Die, will speak at the Main Library on Tuesday, February 18 at 6:00 p.m.
