Butler County High School will enforce drawstring backpacks starting next fall

BUTLER COUNTY – Butler County High School announced an update for students on June 13.

Due to security reasons, BCHS will only allow drawstring or pull string backpacks for students on campus beginning fall 2025.

“This gives everyone a full year to prepare or gift your student with a pullstring bag,” stated BCHS in a Facebook post.

If parents need assistance purchasing a drawstring backpack, the Butler County Youth Service Center will help if needed.
