Butler County Animal Shelter hosting Jordan’s Way fundraiser

MORGANTOWN, Ky. – Wednesday night, the Jordan’s Way tour made a stop at the Butler County Animal Shelter, hoping to raise more money.

A three-hour live stream took place on the Jordan’s Way Facebook page, and the shelter has close to $10,000 raised through this event.

Local police officers and the community came out to support the shelter and their pets by giving them treats and through crazy dares like getting waxed and throwing buckets of water onto others.

However, the shelter still has a bit to go before they reach their goal.

“People can donate tonight, tomorrow, the next day… this number will get over 10,000 by the end of tonight, I promise you that… We’re gonna keep on sharing, keep on tagging our friends… This is my first year here, you guys are now 325 away from 10,000… it’s still going up,” Kris Rotonda of Jordan’s Way says during the live stream.
