Butler County Animal Shelter expands
BUTLER COUNTY, Ky. – The Butler County Animal Shelter is making strides toward expanding its facilities, with its first step, being a spay and neuter clinic.
News 40 spoke to shelter Director Ruby Fooks, who said they’ve been working at a brand new shelter for a while but it will still take a lot of time and funding to pull off, so right now they’re building a temporary clinic that will eventually become something else for the community once they move out.
Fooks said the shelter is always looking for donations both physical and monetary and encouraged anyone wanting to contribute to reach out directly.
