Burn ban issued in Logan County

Burn Ban

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – A burn ban has been issued for all of Logan County.

On Tuesday, Aug. 26, an executive order issued by Logan County judge-executive Phillip Baker banned all outdoor burning in Logan County until further notice.

This is due to predicted weather conditions and the extreme danger of forest fires in the county.

The ban is effective immediately. It will remain in effect until it has been rescinded by public notice.

The order joins multiple counties under the burn ban, including Edmonson, Metcalfe and Warren counties.
