Burn ban issued in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – Logan County is now under a burn ban until further notice.

According to a Facebook post Friday by the Logan County Fiscal Court, Logan County judge executive Phillip E. Baker issued a burn ban effective immediately as of Friday, Oct. 25.

The post states Baker reached this decision after speaking to all fire department in that local area, along with Logan County Emergency Management and the State Division of Forestry.

He says they believe this is the appropriate step to ensure safety of the community.
