Bryant Confident in Future of WKU Soccer
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kaylyn Bryant played a pivotal role in helping the Lady Tops’ soccer team double their previous season’s win total last year, as they went from 5 wins in 2018 to 10 wins in 2019.
The Senior Defender’s performance throughout last fall’s campaign earned her 3rd Team All-Conference honors and helped WKU to its first winning season since 2016.
Bryant recently joined WKU Athletics’ “Beyond the Hill” podcast to talk about a variety of subjects, including her time spent at Western Kentucky and thoughts on the future of the program.
“I think the future is definitely bright,” the Florida-native told host Tyler Eaton, “we made a really positive statement (in 2019) and wanted to be a contender for the conference tournament continuously. I think that’s something this future thing is going to do.”
