Brownsville-based horseback riding trainer charged with rape, sodomy
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Brownsville man is facing multiple charges, including rape.
According to a uniform citation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested Bobby J. Bishop Jr., 47 of Brownsville, on Tuesday in relation to a reported complaint.
Bishop is charged with unlawful transaction with a minor, first offense – illegal sex act, under 16 years of age, third-degree rape, third-degree sodomy, promoting a sexual performance by a minor, under 18 and procurement or promoting use of minor by electronic means.
It was reported Bishop has worked as a horseback riding trainer, according to the sheriff’s office.
Incidents related to the charges were reported to have taken place in Warren and Edmonson counties, the citation states.
Bishop remains at the Warren County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.
