Broken windshield leads to felony drug arrests

LINDSEYVILLE, Ky. – The Edmonson County Sheriff’s office responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle in the area of Ray Ashley Road on Tuesday.
While en route, the deputy met a vehicle matching the caller’s description on Ky. 259 North and noticed that the windshield was busted. The driver, Roger D. Clark, 34, of Cub Run, was pulled over, at which time the deputy stated that he discovered the license plate on the vehicle had been cancelled, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
The deputy said that Clark was known by him to be a convicted felon and that he observed ammunition and drug paraphernalia lying in plain view inside the vehicle. A search warrant was applied for and served on the vehicle where the deputy found suspected methamphetamine along with other forms of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
Clark was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, buy/possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructed vision and/or windshield and having no registration plates. A passenger in the truck was identified as Sarah Frederick, 36, of Glasgow. Frederick was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and buy/possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Hart County Jail.
