Juvenile unadmittedly shoots self at Skyline Village Mobile Home Park, facing charges

UPDATE (4/22/25): Bowling Green Police Department Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward says the juvenile male who was shot at Skyline Village Mobile Home Park on April 16 is now facing charges.

Ward says the juvenile unadmittedly shot himself.

The male juvenile was treated for injuries and released a few hours after the incident.

The juvenile is charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of a handgun by a minor, and falsely reporting an incident.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green police are investigating a shooting on Wednesday morning.

Bowling Green Police Department Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward says the department is investigating a shooting at Skyline Village Mobile Home Park on Loop Street in Bowling Green.

Ward says the victim is a 16-year-old male juvenile. The juvenile was transported to a hospital and has since been airlifted for continued treatment.

Ward says SKYCTC was on lockout as a precaution. The campus has reopened.

Warren Central High School and Warren Elementary have been placed on a lockout.
