BRAWA to close to general public through March 29

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Barren River Animal Welfare Association (BRAWA) has announced it will close to the general public due to the coronavirus outbreak.

In a statement released Sunday, the board of directors has made the decision to suspend general public visits March 16 through March 29. Pet adoptions will continue by appointment only.

The shelter will continue to take stray intakes and owner surrenders by appointment only if space allows. Spay/Neuter appointments previously scheduled will also be honored during the closure.
