Bravo 15 Black Volleyball team prepares for AAU Nationals

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A team comprised of local high school volleyball players is making noise in the AAU circuit as they prepare to take part in the national tournament in Orlando next week.

Thanks to a win in February’s Nashville Super Regional tournament, the Bravo 15 Black volleyball team will be competing in the AAU Nationals as the 16th ranked squad in the country.

This team is largely comprised of players from Bowling Green High School and Warren East High School, but boasts a player from East Robertson High School in Tennessee as well.

The Bravo 15 Black team officially started competing in tournaments at the start of the new year and, after punching their ticket to the AAU Nationals a month later, started practicing for the week to come.

Head coach Nicole Whitson, Defensive Specialist Presley Willis and Middle Hitter Jamie Phelps all know how great of an opporunity this is, and the trio say they’re beyond ready to hit the court in Orlando.
