Brand new fire trucks to soon hit the streets in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Bowling Green Fire Department will soon have some new wheels.
Four new fire engines and a new rescue engine are scheduled to be delivered to the department next week. Officials are currently doing final inspections on the vehicles.
Before responding to incidents, each truck will have to be equipped.
Last March, the Bowling Green City Commission approved a $3.5 million loan to purchase the fire engines for the department.
