Boys to Men hosts first annual Breakfast with Dads at Broadway UMC
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Several men and 160 young men from schools in Bowling Green/Warren County all came together at Broadway United Methodist Church to connect and inspire during the Boys to Men Leadership Group’s first annual Breakfast with Dads.
The mission behind this event is to develop positive relationships amongst children in our communities.
Male figures joined Boys to Men groups from Bristow, Natcher, Jennings Creek, and Parker-Bennett-Curry.
Corner Bakery provided a pancake breakfast while motivational speakers shared their stories.
The Director of Boys to Men, Tyreon Clark, says his vision for this event is to raise awareness of how males and children can be impacted by involvement.
Clark’s plan is to continue growing the large scale event with an educational, fun environment in future years.
Boys to Men will also be hosting their Young Bosses Gala at Christ Fellowship Church tonight at 6:00 p.m.
Workshops will include resume building, employment applications, and interviews with professional mentors.
