Bowling Green’s Tomorrow’s Woman and The Perfect Fit help breast cancer survivors
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Two organizations in Bowling Green are working to help women feel more confident, especially during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This new and unique opportunity for women is providing next-level comfort.
Two local organizations are coming together to show appreciation to women who have had a mastectomy. Tomorrow’s Woman and The Perfect Fit are helping women to feel more like themselves again.
Carol O’Kelly the general manager and Laura Stroud the retail fitter care deeply about their business and all that they are doing for the community. They also go out of their way to ensure that their clients are more than satisfied. They do this by taking their time and understanding who they are working with.
O’Kelly shares, “We get a bra that fits them well. We get the right prosthesis. They’re very confident. They walk out here with a little pep in their step because they are feeling like they did before surgery.”
Rhona Thomerson is a cancer survivor who tells us how important this is to her.
“Well first of all, if you’ve had cancer, which I have almost four years, and thankfully and I would highly recommend this. I don’t know any others because I’ve been so satisfied. When they were first recommended to me, you know, you’re kind of scared from the surgeries or whatever, but I was made feel so welcome.
This unique opportunity provides confidence, certified assistance and garments.
Stroud also says, “If you come to us and get a professional fitting, I guarantee you will leave excited about how you look and how your posture feels and just how you’re going to carry yourself on the way out and into the rest of your life.”
