Bowling Green’s Eden Valor performs, is surprised by H.E.R. on ‘Jennifer Hudson Show’

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WNKY) – As seen on WNKY NBC 40, Bowling Green singer Eden Valor received the surprise of a lifetime Friday after performing on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

Valor performed “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar featuring H.E.R. and told host Jennifer Hudson that connecting with an audience is what she loves most about performing.

“I love to perform so much,” Valor said. “They’re cheering me on, and it makes me feel so good.”

Valor said H.E.R. was the first celebrity to comment on one of her singing videos, which inspired her to perform one of the artist’s songs.

When Hudson asked Valor if she wanted to be like the artist known as H.E.R. when she grows up, Valor said yes. Hudson then asked if she would like to meet her, before H.E.R. walked onto the stage.

H.E.R. embraced the young Bowling Green singer and told her the inspiration goes both ways.

“I know you said I inspired you and that means so much to me, but you really inspire me,” H.E.R. said. “I think you’re one of the reasons why I do what I do.”

H.E.R. also offered her support to Valor and her family, telling them, “Anytime you need anything … I’m there. You have my support and my love.”
