Update: Sheriff names Bowling Green woman killed in Thursday morning wreck

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A 22-year-old woman died early Thursday morning after wrecking her car in the 7700 block of Ky. 231 north.

She was driving a 2013 Dodge Dart when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree, Warren County Sheriff Brett Hightower said.

The sheriff’s office has identified the woman as Sarah Hood. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

She was less than a half of a mile from her home, Hightower said. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
