Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society kick off ‘$20 in 2020’ fundraising campaign
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green/ Warren County Humane Society needs help with extreme medical cases.
Beginning November 27th, the community is urged to donate just $20 in 2020 to help abused, neglected and injured homeless pets that come into the humane society.
So far, the BGWC Humane Society has taken in more than 9,200 animals this year, with some of these animals being some of the worst medical cases imaginable. The staff has seen mange, emaciation from extreme neglect, deeply embedded collars, fungal infections, broken bones, burns, and cases of unfathomable physical abuse.
The BGWC Humane Society relies heavily on donations from the community in order to treat every case to the best of their abilities. This year has been especially hard for non-profit organizations that have had to cancel all their major fundraisers, while new medical cases continue to come through the door. Regardless, the BGWC Humane Society vows to ensure every animal is taken care of 365 days a year, but they need your help to continue making this possible.
During the “$20 in 2020” campaign, the BGWC Humane Society will be introducing new content daily through their social media platforms, beginning Friday, November 27th and concluding Friday, December 11th. The BGWC Humane Society is asking for each community member to donate $20 to their life-saving efforts, so they can conclude 2020 by continuing to save as many medical cases possible as we roll into 2021! This campaign is called “$20 in 2020” and all of the donations will go directly to their medical fund, so they can continue to save lives every single day.
The community has never failed to come together to support the shelter in their times of need, and they are asking for your compassion this holiday season!
