Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society brings back beloved Adopt-a-thon on WNKY

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After an eight-year hiatus, the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society (BGWCHS) is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated Adoptathon, airing live on WNKY NBC 40 and streaming on Facebook Live. This special event aims to find loving homes for deserving animals and rally crucial community support for the shelter’s life-saving mission.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 6–8 p.m., as local weather legends Chris Allen and Shane Holinde reunite to co-host this heartwarming broadcast. Back together again, Chris and Shane will lead an evening dedicated to connecting pets with their forever families and illustrating the immense impact of our local shelter.

The two-hour Adoptathon will feature a variety of adoptable animals showcased by local personalities. Viewers will have the opportunity to submit adoption applications during the broadcast and make much-needed donations. Since its last airing, BGWCHS has continued to expand its vital programs, making community support more critical than ever.
