Bowling Green Warren County Drug Task Force reports drug seizures for 2024
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – We’re just a little over the halfway mark for 2024 and the Bowling Green Warren County Drug Task Force has shared with us their drug seizure report so far this year.
According to Tommy Loving, the Director of the Bowling Green Warren County Drug Task Force, some numbers have gone down but some have gone up. Seizures from January 1 to June 30 of 2023 according to Loving are listed below:
- .3 pounds of cocaine
- 53 pounds of meth
- 6,288 doses of fentanyl
- 193 pounds of marijuana
- 3,927 marijuana vape pens
2024 numbers are a bit different, to which Loving said are a little concerning seeing that fentanyl has risen. These numbers detail January 1 to date of 2024:
- 17 pounds of cocaine
- 36 pounds of meth
- over 9,000 fentanyl doses
- 145 pounds of marijuana
- 1,277 marijuana vape pens
