Bowling Green tourism officials team up with other cities on new campaign
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Bowling Green Convention and Visitors Bureau is teaming up with two other cities to inspire travel to western Kentucky.
Tourism officials from Bowling Green, Owensboro and Paducah are collaborating on the Quilts, Cars and Guitars initiative.
The name isinspired by three attractions: Paducah’s National Quilt Museum, Owensboro’s Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum and Bowling Green’s National Corvette Museum.
The project got underway this week with each convention and visitors bureau hosting a social media takeover, featuring one of the other destinations in order to help showcase those communities to a new audience.
The campaign will take place March 11-13 and March 18-20.
