Bowling Green teen arrested following vandalism at Roland Bland Park

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A 19-year-old Bowling Green man is behind bars following reported vandalism at Roland Bland Park.
According to the Bowling Green Police Department, officers received reports over the weekend of “extensive graffiti and multiple items damaged or destroyed” inside of the park.
On Tuesday evening, police say park employees notified them a suspect was at the skate park. Officers say they responded and located 19-year-old Miles Small of Bowling Green.
Police say Small was carrying a backpack with several cans of spray paint, alcohol, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
During questioning, authorities say Small admitted to the vandalism inside of Roland Bland Park.
Park employees estimated the cost of the damage to be over $10,000, police say.
Small was arrested on charges of first-degree criminal mischief, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, person 18 to 20 in possession of alcohol purchased by another and failure to appear.
This case remains under investigation. Police say additional charges may be pending.
