Bowling Green property tax rate expected to remain the same

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Bowling Green elected officials voted Tuesday on the first reading to keep the property tax rate the same. 

City Commissioners voted to keep the rate at 20.5 cents per $100 of assessed value. The tax rate has remained the same since 1980. The second and final reading of the item will take place at the next meeting on September 16th.
