Teen dies from Friday night shooting, police charge person with murder

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A teen died after being shot Friday night in an apartment on Torridge Avenue.
Police were called to the scene at just after 8 p.m. Friday, Bowling Green Police Department spokesman Officer Ronnie Ward said.
Upon arrival they found Holden Heath, 19, shot in the chest inside apartment 123 at 2748 Torridge Ave., according to a release from BGPD.
Heath was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
Police arrested Nathanael Navarez, 20, inside of an apartment on Jackson Street, according to the release.
Navarez is accused of forcing himself into the apartment on Torridge Avenue and shooting Heath. Navarez is charged with murder and first-degree burglary, according to the release.
