UPDATE: Public Information Ronnie Ward says no charges will be filed in the death investigation involving a fetus. Ward announced on Tuesday morning on behalf of the Bowling Green Police Department.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department is conducting a death investigation involving a fetus found on Friday.

According to BGPD public information officer Ronnie Ward, a fetus was discovered near Angora Court after being flushed from an unknown apartment.

Ward stated the fetus will have an autopsy performed to determine if it was viable.
