Bowling Green police bring tornado relief to Laurel County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department is bringing help to those impacted by recent tornado damage.

On Thursday, officials say members of BGPD traveled to London with supplies donated by department employees and local businesses, including Wal-Mart and Pop Shelf.

Officials say friends with the Buddy House helped send blankets to those in need as well.

BGPD says it joins Kentucky in supporting those who have been affected and will continue to be available to help where needed.
